Municipal election 1998
Sverigedemokraterna received 0.05% (2,861 votes) and 8 seats.
Before 2002 the source only reports the Sweden Democrats in municipalities where the party won seats (Haninge, Sölvesborg, Höör, Dals-Ed, and Trollhättan). Its other votes are included in other parties, so the share above is not a national result. These years are left out of the best and worst election.
The best result 2002–2026 was 2022 with 14.55% and 2091 seats. The weakest was 2002 with 0.90% and 49 seats.
