The second of two votes on wind power on the same day, both following citizens' initiatives. This one concerned wind power in all of the municipality's territorial waters, about 30 km out from the coast. Held on the same day as the general election.
No received the most votes, 52.1 %. Turnout was 71.8 %.

About the referendum
Municipal referendums are advisory. The municipal council is not bound by the outcome.
The referendum was held after a citizens' initiative, a petition among the municipality's eligible voters.
The votes were counted in the same voting districts as the election, and the map shows the election's district boundaries.
The municipality reports invalid votes only for the municipality as a whole, not per district.
The municipality's text gives 14,746 voters, but the results table and the turnout of 71.82% give 14,726.
