About the referendum
Municipal referendums are advisory. The municipal council is not bound by the outcome.
The referendum was held after a citizens' initiative, a petition among the municipality's eligible voters.
The election committee reports the result only for the municipality as a whole and not the number of eligible voters.
Blank was an answer option of its own and counted as a valid vote. The invalid votes are 8 ballots without a mark and 2 others.
Some ballots lacked boxes to mark. The election committee accepted them when it was clear what the voter had voted for.
