About the referendum
Municipal referendums are advisory. The municipal council is not bound by the outcome.
The referendum was held after a citizens' initiative, a petition among the municipality's eligible voters.
The ballot had no option for abstaining. Blank votes are counted as invalid here, as in general elections.
The municipality reports 12 blank and 23 invalid votes for the municipality as a whole. Per district it gives only yes, no and the number of voters, so blank and invalid votes per district are voters minus yes and no.
The municipality's percentages are calculated on all voters, including invalid votes. Here the shares are calculated on valid votes.
